Alopecia Gallery Founded in 1996 My face Founded in 1996, Alopecia Gallery is a contemporary art gallery, located in a hole on the beard of Gordon B. Isnor's face. Exhibition space measures 1.5 x 2 inches. Shows last one month. Current Contact Info: Gordon B. Isnor lordsirskronk@yahoo.com How The Project Started: I get a little hole in my beard. The doc calls it Alopecia. I decided to open it as an art gallery. Artists, Curators, Collaborators, Conspirators: The Alopecia Gallery was opened in 1996 in Halifax , Nova Scotia . Our first show was by Dollface creator Amy Baker, followed by work from Sandy Plotnikoff and Michael Fernandes. The gallery closed that year after a show by Darrin Heaton and remained inactive until 2005 when exhibitions resumed with an exhibit by Paige Gratland. Audience, Reactions, Anecdotes, Stories: Weirdos. I swim in weird circles so people tend to act nonchalant, but I'll let you know if something crops up.
