Bricks and Mortar: Residency/Project Space Auction and 30th Anniversary Dinner

18 October 2013

This 1978 Fender Precision Bass was played by artist Ian Wallace in the band UJ3RK5 alongside band members Kitty Byrne, Rodney Graham, Colin Griffiths, Danice MacLeod, Frank Ramirez, Jeff Wall and David Wisdom.

The bass was donated by the artist and will be sold by auction, along with many other artworks by local and international artists to support the Or Gallery’s new Residency/Project Space.

The Residency/Project Space will be a shared resource for Vancouver’s contemporary visual art organizations, allowing for extended visits from international artists, curators, and writers.
