Please join us for the 2026 Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival Parade as we celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse.

Or Gallery will be open with extended hours from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

First held in Vancouver’s Chinatown in 1974, the Spring Festival Parade has evolved over the years to reflect the neighbourhood’s vibrant multicultural community.

Alongside the parade, Or Gallery will serve hot tea to the community from our street-front bookstore and present Spring Blossoms (桃花), a free arts and crafts workshop led by Community Engagement Program Assistant Agnes Fan.

Following the parade, Or Gallery will host a traditional lion dance performance (採青), including the lettuce offering (生財), to bring good fortune and blessings for the year ahead.

Rain or shine, come by to create a peach blossom decoration and share your wishes for the new year.
