Please join us for the One hundred more: Movement Sessions presented and led by exhibiting artist in residence Justine A.  Chambers.  

One hundred more is an exhibition featuring the west coast premiere of One hundred more (2024), a video-based installation exploring gestures of resistance. Alongside the installation, Chambers undertakes a creative research residency and develops a public outreach program series, cumulatively supporting the development of a future choreographic work. Grounded in Chambers’ ongoing research into individual and collective embodied archives and everyday social choreographies, these sessions explore strategies for presence and spatial negotiation. Participants will engage in a progressive movement score that considers internal and external support systems, perceptual shifts, and somatic activation. Together, these sessions invite attention to how seemingly minor gestures can carry meaning and create connection. 

These sessions are open to everyone, and participants are welcome to join at their own pace. No previous dance or movement experience is required. Registration is recommended as space is limited but not required. Please contact Or Gallery if you require any accessibility accommodations.
